Titans QB Young had tests on hamstring

After leading the Tennessee Titans to another win and chance to a new winning streak, quarterback Vince Young is not taking care of his right hamstring, which was mildly strained during last Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams.

The quarterback pulled up at the end of a 44-yard run, the longest of his career, during Sunday’s 47-7 win over the Rams. Being confident that his team would win, he did not appear again in his Titans jersey on field for the rest of the game. After having a variety of tests on the right hamstring, he was listed as day-to-day by Coach Jeff Fisher, who said that the injury was just a mild strain.

According to Fisher, Young will appear on the practice field on Wednesday to test how the hamstring works by then. The coach also said that Young will likely play on limited basis because it is unlikely he is in perfect condition by game time and the team does not want to take the risk of aggravating the injury.
